Organizing

I wasn't feeling very creative today and finally decided to just organize the files and folders on my computer. While doing so, I came across an excel sheet, I'd labeled 'Publication Tracker'. I scanned through it and found I hadn't updated it in a couple of months years.

So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

I filled out my sheet, figuring I'd been published maybe a handful of times. Twenty at best. What I found was 53 published pieces! Fifty three!

Not only am I over the moon excited but I am now the owner of a neatly organized portfolio! :)

Okay...I thought I was organized when I typed and alphabatized my grocery list. Mmmm...I have notes on my cell phone of where and when I sent stuff. That excell program is a great idea.

Yes, I absolutely LOVE using Excel for my portfolio. I'm thinking of using Excel as a submission tracker as well. If you want, I'll share a blank template you can use. :)
